Kees

Kees is a secret speak-easy hidden away in the west village, NYC. A decadent, glamorous space inspired by Cosmopolitan New York during the roaring 1920s, when the Martini was king.

Typography

The name Kees is taken from the second part of the word Yankess, the identity pays homage to the Dutch influence of NYC during the 1920s and in particular Cornelia St. The logo is inspired by the bold typographic designs of Dutch Art Deco, with a touch of NYC glamour through colour and material. The Key icon is a nod to the Speak-easy membership cards of the time and allows members entry to the bar.
